Skin – Vitamin A and antioxidants in grapefruit juice contribute to helping the skin. It hydrates the skin, evens tones, and stimulates tissue growth. The fruit helps the body create collagen and an “elasticity” of the skin to improve wrinkling, blemishes, and scars.
Aging – Grapefruits also possess qualities said to reduce the aging process and even extend life expectancy. This is explained further below.

Grapefruits also known for their strong dose of antioxidants and antimicrobial properties. The antioxidants help fight diseases, like cancers, and the microbial prevent fungi and yeast build up.
Also beneficial are an included polyamine called “spermidine.” Spermidine levels fall as we age and our cell growth is slowed.
